Optinova Godby is now seeking a Production Manager to continue the successful trend that Optinova has experienced over the years. As a Production Manager, you'll be responsible for leading development and driving improvement processes alongside a dedicated team.

This role has big influence within supply chain management and manufacturing operations that involves supporting production and logistics in terms of staffing, efficiency, and quality assurance. You'll have the support of supervisors, a logistics manager, and several team leads. Together, you'll ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness in line with our
values: quality, proactivity, and commitment. Simultaneously, you'll foster team spirit, create a safe environment for our production staff, and dare to challenge our work methods to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilties
-Plan, organize, and coordinate production activities to meet targets and quality standards
-Ensure high productivity and continuous process development
-Contribute to maintaining an effective quality management system
-Ensure high and quality-assured productivity, both short- and long-term, including constant development of processes and competence with a high level of collaboration with other departments
-Share a trusting relationship with workgroup
-Manage and develop plant employees with a focus on employee well-being
Requirements and skills
-We believe you have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Production or Operations Management. Industrial Engineering or related fields such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Engineering can also provide a strong foundation
-Ability to build trust and collaboration in an international environment
-Proven work experience with leadership and ability to create accountability and to lead by example
-Fluency in English and Swedish
