Repairman to M/S Finlandia

We are looking for a Repairman to M/S Finlandia's Engine department. We are offering one permanent contract with access in the end of January 2025.

As Repairman you handle the maintenance of the vessels equipment in order to maintain its good condition. On M/S Finlandia you rotate after each shift working both as Engine Repairman, Sanitary Repairman, and Interior Fitter

Our team is looking for a positive, service minded professional with good language skills. Our work language onboard is English, language skills in Finnish and Swedish are meritorious.

To succeed in the role as Repairman we think you have the following qualities: problem solving, likes to work independently and you have good practical skills, for example in welding and using the lathe.

We are looking for a crew member with relevant professional experience, qualifications, and a positive attitude towards maintaining a good safety and environmental awareness onboard.

Requirement for the position is a valid Able Seafarer Engine / Repairman certificate (STCW III/5).

M/S Finlandia operates between Helsinki-Tallinn under Finnish flag. Work rotation is according to a 1:1 system. Salary according to competency and collective agreements.
