We are now looking for a summer trainee to join our Mariehamn-based team and gain hands-on experience in accounting and develop key skills for your future career in finance.

As a summer trainee on the Accounting & Invoice Team, you will be part of a team responsible for managing financial transactions, processing invoices, and supporting accounting tasks to ensure smooth financial operations. Your role will involve handling invoices, reconciling accounts, assisting with financial reporting, and collaborating with various departments to maintain accurate financial records.

Your profile

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual eager to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are ready to put your skills to the test in a real-world setting.

We believe you are:

- Currently studying or recently graduated in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field

- Eager to develop your accounting skills and work with financial systems

- Analytical, thorough, and proactive in problem-solving

- A team player who also enjoys working independently when needed

- Organized and detail-focused, with a strong sense of responsibility

Requirements:

- You must be at least 18 years old

- Good written and spoken English (English is our corporate language)

- - You have a valid work-permit for working in Finland/Åland

This position is based in Mariehamn, and we can only consider applications from candidates already residing in the Åland Islands.

Duration: 3 months, full time, 01.06 - 31.08.2025 (flexible)
